Put on your finest lederhosen and strike up the oompah band…it’s time to celebrate Oktoberfest! This festbier is crafted from the finest German pilsner malt, a bit of Munich malt for extra flavor, and Hallertau and Tettnang hops for the perfect noble hop experience. After fermentation and packaging, let it lager in a fridge for at least 6 weeks for the best result. We recommend using Omega’s Bayern Lager yeast for this, but if you can’t control fermentation temperature, give it a go with Lutra Kviek!
Due to the higher ABV of this style, if you are brewing with Bayern Lager, we recommend pitching 2 packs of yeast or building a starter using the Propper Starter from Omega.
