The American Brown Ale is a medium-bodied recipe known for its balanced malt sweetness and moderate hop bitterness. It features flavors of caramel, toffee, and chocolate, with a rich, toasty backbone and a clean finish. I’ve named this  in honor of John Brown, one of the greatest heroes in American history.

• 2 Row Brewers Malt -or- Pilsen Light Dry Malt Extract
  
• Caramel 60 Malt
  
• Honey Malt
• Chocolate Malt
• Northern Brewer hop pellets
• Cascade hop pellets
  
• Corn sugar for bottle conditioning
